About England

The Expat Writer

England is often called a green and pleasant land and this is an apt description. It's always green due to the abundant rainfall and the land is pleasant because of the beautiful countryside as well as the attractive cities and towns.
Some of the most popular cities or towns to visit in England are; York, Cambridge, Oxford, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, and of course, London.

In the UK, The temperatures are measured in Centigrade rather than Farenheit. This simple fact is something I still haven't adjusted to. Whenever, I hear the weather report, I have to consult a handy temperature conversion chart that I keep on my refrigerator door with a magnet.
I also put a conversion calculator on my website:

Convert C to F
Enter C
Value in F
